March 2020 First Friday Artist - Sarah Capdeville

Sarah Capdeville Sketches

About Sarah Capdeville

Before being diagnosed with with systemic lupus, Sarah Capdeville proudly wore the title of wilderness ranger in three Montana wilderness areas, including the Rattlesnake Wilderness north of Missoula. Inspired by foxes’ spunk and chickadees’ grace in the wild, she began her Field Guide to Fatigue sketches as a way of bringing the isolating experience of chronic illness into what she hopes is more tangible and enjoyable expression.
