First Friday at The Center
We are honored to participate in this long-standing Missoula event. On the First Friday of every month, we invite you to come check out our space, enjoy some snacks and beverages, all the while being exposed to some of the premiere LGBTQIA and allied local artists. If you can't come by on the first Friday, don't fret! We keep the art up all month long! Wondering who is the featured artist? Check out our community calender to see who the featured artists are and what is to come!
This month's First Friday artist: Sarah Capdeville
About Sarah Capdeville
Before being diagnosed with with systemic lupus, Sarah Capdeville proudly wore the title of wilderness ranger in three Montana wilderness areas, including the Rattlesnake Wilderness north of Missoula. Inspired by foxes’ spunk and chickadees’ grace in the wild, she began her Field Guide to Fatigue sketches as a way of bringing the isolating experience of chronic illness into what she hopes is more tangible and enjoyable expression.

Feature your work at The Center
The Center is currently seeking LGBTQ+ and allied artists to show their works of art in The Center for the 2019-2020 calendar years.
This is a great opportunity to be a part of First Friday and to get your art shown out in the community. If you are interested in showing your art at the Center or wish to book a slot further out, please contact our First Friday Coordinator and board member Andy Nelson.
