First Friday at The Center

SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 ALERT:
Due to the concerns with social gatherings and social distancing, First Friday events have been put on hold until further notice.

Due to the ongoing global pandemic and for the safety of everyone in our community, The Center board has put First Friday events on hold until further notice.

While we are sad we will not get to continue to provide our monthly First Friday event with an in-person event, the health of our community is a priority. The Center board will continue to monitor the situation to ensure safe and successful Center events. Please check back on this page or subscribe to our emails for more information. We are looking forward to seeing everyone's face.

Briefly:

  • Due to SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 our First Friday events have been put on hold until further notice.
  • Check back on this page for updates about our First Friday events and artists.

We are honored to participate in this long-standing Missoula event.  On the First Friday of every month, we invite you to come check out our space, enjoy some snacks and beverages, all the while being exposed to some of the premiere LGBTQIA and allied local artists.  If you can't come by on the first Friday, don't fret!  We keep the art up all month long!  Wondering who is the featured artist?  Check out our community calendar to see who the featured artists are and what is to come!

This month's First Friday artist: Dre Castillo

Feature your work at The Center

The Center is currently seeking LGBTQ+ and allied artists to show their works of art in The Center for the 2019-2020 calendar years.

This is a great opportunity to be a part of First Friday and to get your art shown out in the community. If you are interested in showing your art at the Center or wish to book a slot further out, please contact our First Friday Coordinator and board member Andy Nelson.
