Blue Mountain Clinic – Missoula, MT
Blue Mountain Clinic has partnered with the Gender Expansion Project to bring the 2013 GEP Trans* Health Conference and many other trans*, intersex, and gender diverse services to Western Montana and beyond
Blue Mountain Clinic offers health care that begins with listening, provides information and options and respects individual choices. Blue Mountain Clinic provides an LGBTQQI and Gender Inclusive environment, as well as being one of the of first clinics in Montana to begin the process of providing trans* and gender variant healthcare to individuals of all ages, including youth and elderly.
Dr. Joey Banks
Dr. Joey Banks is Blue Mountain Clinic’s newest addition! She is a board certified Family Medicine physician and has been practicing for 12 years.After completing her medical training at the Alaska Family Medicine Residency, she went on to work for Alaska Native Health System, where she taught resident physicians and served as Alaska’s Planned Parenthood Director. She has recently completed 3 years of family practice medicine in Tanzania, Africa with her family.Her special interests in addition to family medicine are women’s health, newborn and pediatric care, preventative medicine, basic fertility care, tropical medical issues and reproductive care. Joey supports many forms of alternative medicine approaches to building a healthy life style. One of Dr. Bank’s many philosophies is that “Healing the whole family is my passion”.
Dr. Eric Ravitz
Dr. Eric Ravitz is a board certified Family Practitioner with 31 years of experience. In addition to general family medicine he has special interests in preventative health care, internal medicine problems, and psychiatry. Though trained in traditional western medicine in a military hospital, Dr. Ravitz is welcoming of other complimentary approaches to health care management. Good communication is also a highly prized aspect of Dr. Ravitz’ style of practice. He always tries to make sure all questions and concerns are addressed during patient encounters. In addition, Dr. Ravitz has been honored as “Best Doctor” for the Independent’s “Best of Missoula 2012″ for the fifth year (and counting!).
