About Womyn's Night

The lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and female allies discussion group meets weekly at the Center on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 pm.  Womyn 18 and older are welcome (anyone under 18 is welcomed to contact the Center to find a more appropriate group).  This is a wonderful way to meet new friends within our community.  The group will encourage discussion on topics of interest to the participants in a supportive and empowering environment.  This is a group for support and connection and there is no charge for attending this group.  The group is open each week and attendance need not be regular.

Chat Format

The format for the group is built around everyone having a voice.  First we have a round of check-ins and then we have casual conversations.  Topics are based on what is moving us at the moment.  We have talked on subjects like current issues, dating, families, coming out, not coming out, sex, and other lesbian issues.  Some nights we break out board games, watch movies, and more.  We always welcome newcomers, old-comers, and those just coming to check it out.
