In celebration of LGBT History Month in October we will featured short columns about figures in LGBT History. The first feature is on socialite, gay icon, and autobiographer Quentin Crisp. He came out in the 1920's and became famous for being witty, democratic, and openly gay. Our second feature was on Sherman Alexie, the most famous American Indian author and a straight ally. The third feature was on Life partners John Cage and Merce Cunningham, composer and dancer, respectively. The last, covered composer Wendy Carlos.
