The Board of Directors meets on the third Wednesday of the month. It conducts the majority of business for the Center. If you are interested in becoming a board member you can download a copy of the application here.

All board members have Gaymontana.org email addresses which can be used by clicking on their names. If you wish to send an email to the entire board this can be done by emailing board@gaymontana.org.

Co-chairs: Bree Sutherland & David Herrera

Acton Seibel - Acton Seibel has been doing queer stuff since he was four and considers himself a local by default as he has spent the last 20 years or so in Montana.  Acton currently spends most of his time working on OutWords, volunteering, and baking muffins.

Bree Sutherland - Bree is a Montana native who attended the University of Montana for a degree in Social Work and Psychology, with an emphasis in LGBT studies and gender variance. She is heavily involved in working with the transgender community throughout the State, is the executive director of MontanaTDOR, co-chair of the Western Montana Community Center, vice president of the Montana Pride Network and currently serves on the board of Fine Art Missoula art coalition, as well as facilitating the Montana Gender Alliance in Missoula, all in an effort toward a better tomorrow for the entire LGBTQQI Community.

David Herrera - David Herrera, director of FDH & Associates, the Montana Gay Men's Task Force, and as co-chair of the Western Montana Community Center, has been heavily involved with HIV prevention, testing and counseling throughout Montana since 1986. He has served on the planning committee of the National Men's Health Summit, as well as currently serving on the Montana Two Spirit Society board of directors.

Donald Stuker - Born and raised on the Highline here in Montana, Donald is a member of
the Missoula PFLAG board of directors, as well as serving on our board here at the WMCC. He studied at the University of Montana and double majored in Sociology and Political Science. He is currently working on a degree in law at the University of Montana.

Mija - Mija has been working with the Western Montana Community Center as secretary & volunteer coordinator since 2006.  Mija is a Two Spirited Sexual Savant & steward to community.  Mija enjoys western Montana by skiing, hiking,folfing, kicking hacky sac, riding bike & playing in the river.
